Life in Eastern DRC: Never-Ending War and Moments of Hope

A small team of Global Press journalists began working in North Kivu Province in 2015. Over the course of a decade, they wrote about the issues that have plagued the region for many years: war, disease, crippling poverty and more. Unlike many stories written about the province, Global Press’ were written with an eye toward compassion. Our journalists were writing about their home.
