Nepal Thuli Tamang, 80, washes dishes and tends to her small vegetable garden outside her home on the bank of the Bagmati River in Thapathali, Nepal. Tamang and her daughter moved to the area after her husband died. The community is made up of people squatting on government land, most of whom don’t have their own lands and have come from other parts of Nepal to find daily wage work.
