Zimbabwe Primrose Masiyakurima (right) and other community members repair a broken borehole in Dora Ward 35, located in Zimbabwe’s Mutare District. This borehole provides water to 22 households and a school of 350 children. A few villagers are given equipment and trained as Village Pump Mechanics (VPMs), so they can repair broken boreholes themselves instead of waiting for district authorities.
