Democratic Republic of Congo A traffic robot directs vehicles at the most dangerous intersection in Goma, the capital of Kivu province in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The city is testing the robot at the Instigo roundabout, where traffic volume is high, in a bid to reduce congestion and accidents. The device was engineered by Thérèse Kirongozi, a former student at the Institut Supérieur des Techniques Appliquées-Kinshasa, an institute for technical studies in the capital, Kinshasa.
