“From the time I was a child, I loved science, specifically biology. I like working with the human body and helping people get better,” she says. Buka says it's not easy to work in the field of science as it is regarded to be more masculine, and she has also faced that criticism in school, “Sciences are deemed to be for males all the time and as a female in science sometimes people look down upon you thinking you can’t do it,” she says. Buka says she is proud that she has pulled through for the three years she has been in school, excelling in her exams.
