Worldwide Vigils Continue to Honor Slain Gay Rights Activist

Uganda's leading gay rights activist David Kato was murdered on Jan. 26, in what police say was a situation "unrelated to his activism." A local man, Nsubuga Enock, confessed to the murder last week.



As Uganda continues to consider a controversial Anti-Homosexuality Bill, communities around the world are holding vigils and pointing to Uganda as the new hotbed of the international gay rights movement.
