Shawn Selby has been an editor at The Washington Post, USA Today, Crain’s Detroit Business, PropertyCasualty360.com and at newspapers in Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia and the United Kingdom. He spent his childhood along the U.S.-Mexico border in South Texas, and his high school and college years in Appalachia. As an adult, he lived along the U.S.-Canada border and in Manchester, England, before making his home in Washington, D.C. Shawn is a graduate of Marietta College in Ohio. His interests include history, politics and British sitcoms, particularly those that first aired in the 1970s and 1980s.
