Otgonbaatar Tsedendemberel is a former advocacy program manager and executive director of the LGBT Center of Mongolia, where he helped lead the country’s movement to support human rights regardless of a person’s sexual orientation and gender identity. He also served on the boards of Mongolian organizations Open Society Forum and Youth Policy Watch. Currently, Otgonbaatar is a program advisory committee member with the Asian-Pacific Resource and Research Center for Women (ARROW). He also has carried out various translation assignments for local, national, regional and international organizations, including the United Nations in Mongolia, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe’s Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, the U.S. Embassy in Mongolia and the Mongolian Women's Fund, among others. Otgonbaatar is a doctoral student in sociology at Corvinus University of Budapest. He holds a master’s degree in human rights from Mahidol University in Thailand and an undergraduate law degree from Tokyo University.
