Louise Scrivens joined Global Press Journal in 2021 as an editor. She now works as the lead editorial coach on the global team. Louise is a British journalist and editor with more than two decades of experience working on newspapers, magazines and online news organizations around the world.
After completing her bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature, she was selected to train with Midland News Association, Britain’s largest regional news company, before starting as a daily newspaper reporter.
Since, she has worked as a broadcast journalist for BBC News Online in London and Birmingham, an editor for Bloomberg News in New York and an editor for Australian Associated Press in Sydney.
She spent a year traveling around the world, writing travel articles along the way, and hasn’t stopped moving since. She’s now based in Oklahoma by way of Sydney, New York and London.
