Danielle Mackey is a Spanish-English translator for the Global Press Journal. She lives in San Salvador and New York, and also works as a longform, investigative journalist for various outlets. She is happy to be part of the GPJ team, and grateful to learn to be a better journalist from both the GPJ staff and writers. In her free time, she reads short stories, cooks vegetables, plays the drums and looks for kittens to pet.
