Austin “AJ” Bachand joined Global Press in 2017. A California native, he graduated from the Scripp’s College of Communication at Ohio University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in visual communication and photojournalism.
Austin produced still photography and video for publications in Ohio, Virginia and Pennsylvania before joining the Daily News-Record in Harrisonburg, Virginia, in February 2015. While working in the Shenandoah Valley, he founded the specialty multimedia company Ares Multimedia, LLC.
