Allison Braden has been a member of the Global Press Accuracy Network's copy-editing team since 2017. A writer and literary translator, she’s also a contributing editor to Charlotte magazine and an editor-at-large for Asymptote, a journal of literary translation. Her journalism has appeared in Outside, Columbia Journalism Review and The Daily Beast, among others. In 2013, she accompanied The Carter Center’s election observation mission to Venezuela and completed a Fulbright scholarship in Bangladesh. Prior to freelancing, she worked in development at Charlotte’s NPR station. She is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
