Distiller Makes Artisanal Alcohol in DRC

Brigitte Tosani makes artisanal alcohol, known as lotoko, in Kisangani, Democratic Republic of Congo. Tosani, who has produced lotoko for over 15 years, says the fermented manioc byproducts are distilled in stills made from oil drums.
