Tamara Pearson has been a journalist for two decades. She spent the last 12 years living in and covering Latin America. She has worked both as an editor and features and news journalist, focusing particularly on social justice issues, international news, refugees, resource access and inequalities in arts and culture.
Tamara has a humanities degree from Australia and an alternative pedagogy degree from Venezuela. She is the author of The Butterfly Prison, a literary novel, and a children's book, The Beauty Rules of Flowertown. Her home is Mexico.
