Kenichi Serino was been an editor for Global Press Journal from 2019-2020. Kenichi is a journalist and media trainer who has worked in Southern Africa, the Caribbean and the United States. He has been a community reporter, a wire hack, a feature writer and the managing editor of an island newspaper. He has written for publications such as The Atlantic, the Christian Science Monitor, Reuters, The Nation and Al-Jazeera. As a trainer, Kenichi has taught student journalists at the postgraduate level at the University of Witwatersrand and is a mentor in the Aspen New Voices Fellowship program.
