Jackie Dowling joined Global Press Journal as a freelance copy editor in 2017. Jackie has more than 15 years of experience in copy editing, writing, news reporting and media strategy. As a newspaper reporter, she covered stories for The Baltimore Sun, the Greenwich Time and the Stamford Advocate. She later joined PR Newswire as a copy editor, online news anchor and broadcast media strategist.
Jackie received her bachelor’s degree in political science and communications from Loyola University Maryland. A Connecticut native, Jackie currently lives in the New York metro area with her husband, two children and beloved black Labrador, Riley.
