Eunice Onwona joined Global Press Journal in 2017 as an Associate News Editor. She is a Ghanaian-American and graduated from Emerson College in 2014 with a B.S. in Print & Multimedia Journalism.
Eunice worked as a digital journalist with the Broadcasting Board of Governors, piloting and producing content for a data-driven news and information service: Africa Rizing. The platform sought to amplify new voices, connect the next generation of global influencers across borders, and train storytellers across the Sub-Saharan region. She has also freelanced for the International Food Policy Research Institute.
When Eunice isn’t working, you can find her in her kitchen meshing the old school and new school flavors she discovered while traveling and living in western and northern Africa.
