Sergio Figueroa cuts leather to make knife sheaths in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Figueroa, who has worked as a leather artisan since he was 12, says artisanal production dwindled after a surge of cheaper imported products from China in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
