Kate Kilpatrick was an editor with Global Press Journal in 2021. She has 20 years of experience in print and digital media – producing and editing content for newspapers, magazines, TV, radio, websites, newsletters and across social media platforms.
Prior to GPJ, Kate was an education editor at The Conversation, an online features editor at Al Jazeera America, and an executive producer at AJ+ and TRT World. She has reported stories across the U.S. – from Tangier Island to the Tohono O’odham Nation – which have appeared in Al Jazeera, The Washington Post, NBC, The Guardian, The Hechinger Report and more.
She lives in Philadelphia with her young daughter Ella.
